It is with great sadness we have to announce the passing of another Troop, Peter Hughes who served with the Valley Team 1963 – 1964

I received the following in an email from ‘Buck’ Buchanan.

I have been informed that another past Valley troop has passed away.  Pete Hughes (Taff)
He was on the team in the early 60s. He was from Llanberis, but was living in the Forest of Dean area of Gloucester.
No exact details of the funeral arrangements but, I think it will be a cremation down there, and a service in Llanberis, sometime later. I will let you know as soon as I get any information.

Update

Pete is being cremated in the Gloucester area but there will be a memorial service held at Llanberis village hall at 12.00 hrs on November 14th for those who can attend.

  1. I knew Pete well in the early 60’s he worked as a telephonist at Valley. He was known locally as Pete bank because his father was the bank manager.
    Another troop taking another path home, sleep well.
