Comments on Equipment: 1 L/Rover Ambulance, Thomas Stretcher and First Aid Equipment, 1 Cambridge Radio, 3 Ultra Radios.
Narrative:
Two parties of VMRT were called off the Glyder Mountains to assist in the rescue of a girl from Snowdon. The girl Miss Gaynor Wyn THOMAS, of Winter Drive, Old Colwyn, had fallen 200 feet from the top of the PYG track. The team administered First Aid treatment for slight head injuries and evacuated her to the bottom of the Miners Track, Stafford and Ogwen MRT’s, then assisted in the carry to Llyn Llydaw where a civilian ambulance was waiting to convey her to Bangor C&A Hospital.
