Narrative:

18 Sep 15 – Leeming MRT were requested by the ARCC to support the ongoing search for a missing 76 YoF with Alzheimer’s, last seen in the Crosby Ravensworth area, Cumbria on the evening of the 17 Sep 15 walking her dog by her husband. Leeming MRT were allocated a large search area close to point last seen, numerous fields and coppices were searched. Leeming MRT also assisted in the control of R131 from RAF Boulmer. With nothing found and light fading the search was suspended by the POLSAR for the night.

19 Sep 15 – Leeming MRT were allocated a further search area which contained rough terrain and sink holes, whilst our search was underway a body was found by neighbouring civvy search dog team on the western edge of their search area. Initially Leeming MRT’s paramedic was to be used to confirm life extinct but a civ ambulance was able to access the cas site. With no further taskings Leeming MRT resumed normal weekend training.
