NARRATIVE
JAMES CUMMING (19) of Dean Avenue, Dundee, left the Kingshouse Hotel, Glencoe Thursday morning (18/5/67) to “walk round the BUACHILLE” he did not return.
Kinloss MRT arrived in Fort William for weekend exercise and contacted Mr Hamish MacInnes, BEM. On Saturday Kinloss did a sweep and party search on the South and West slopes of Stob Na Broige NN47 191526. On Sunday Kinloss covered the summits of Bidean Nam Bian, Stob Coire Nan Lochan, and the Aonach Eagach ridge from Devils Staircase to Pap of Glencoe.
One party involved in minor avalanche descending into Allt Coire Gabhail (Lost Valley).
Search called off 1800 hours 21/5/67 on recommendation of Mr MacInnes.-
