John Laws – On The Mend

I received this email from John Law who is recovering from a serious illness.

Hi Jim,

Just a short note to let the boys & girls know I am slowly on the mend having been taken seriously ill with Sepsis as a complication of diagnosed type 2 diabetes, 25 March 2017. Am walking and driving short distances, no longer reliant on a wheelchair,

Sad to say any plans I had for bagging any Munro’s, now that we live here in North Berwick, have been shelved for the foreseeable future, but just maybe I’ll walk a few of our East Lothian paths.

For those who don’t remember me, I went out with the Stafford MRT 1967-8, The El Adem Desert Rescue Team 1968-70 and Kinloss 1974. served in the RAF 1967-82, and the MoD 1990-2004 JACIG Scampton MT & RAF MT Waddington & Serco Scampton MT 2006-8.

Always willing to meet for coffee ex-troops visiting or living in the area.

Kind regards

John P Laws
